Gratitude

We feel so privileged to be able to do what we do. Our recent Gospel Concert on 7 September 2019 at the Central Baptist Church in Norwich went down well. There is always a buzz when we stand before an audience or in front of an assembled group of worshippers to lead in song or give a word of encouragement.

Reflecting on what our gospel concert actually does, there are several aspects that are worthy of celebration.

  1. It is a gathering together of people seeking to hear the good news which is the gospel. A great way for people to receive food for their souls.
  2. It is a coming together of people who want to fellowship with others and thereby be an encouragement
  3. It is an opportunity for people to hear music that is able to generate a good internal feeling
  4. It is an outlet for the creative talents and abilities for the musicians and singers who are able to connect to people and bless them through their work and thereby seek to develop their calling and purpose in life.
  5. We have the means to highlight an important challenge in our society. This year we shined the spotlight on the issue of homelessness.
  6. We created a platform upon we could support the good work of a charitable organisation. Hope into Action has taken on the challenge to provide decent accommodation for the most vulnerable in society. Fundraising efforts around the Power and Beauty Gospel Concert yielded the sum of £600 which has been given to Hope into Action

We are exceedingly grateful to all our friends who have supported us as we seek to develop Power and Beauty. We look forward to fulfilling the goals of Power and Beauty and holding more events in the future that will have greater impact for good.
